MEP Hammerstein visited Panichishte and the region of the Sever Rila lakes in order to see the results of the illegal construction (without EIAs) of a lift and a road which lead to the heart of the Rila National park. Results of the illegal construcions were not only destroyed forests but also permanent landslide activities next to the lift and along the road.
