More about Legal Protection of Nature campaign.
Nearly every destruction of natural resources of our country is a transgression of European or Bulgarian environmental law. That is why, after the most active public protests, the fight for saving Bulgarian nature continues in court! In a country where the administrative and corresponding institutions and politicians have resigned their control responsibilities, the public can but summon efforts and means and watch that laws are observed and the guilty of ruining the environment receive their due.
The campaign’s aim is to collect enough means to fund lawsuits for the most painful issues about construction on and destruction of protected areas and zones from Natura 2000 in Bulgaria, illegal felling, contamination, and others.

The funds will be used for:
- Preparation and presentation of complaints, legal opinions, lawsuits, legal consultations, and others;
- Fees for experts engaged in the process – lawyers, hydrologists, architects, and others;
- Transport and lodging when inspection on-site is necessary.
