Park Strandja needs laws, not promises

The Coalition recalls that yesterday every Member of Parliament received in
his or her mailbox the environmentalists’ suggestions for fixing the
problem:



To amend the laws governing territorial development and the development of
the Black Sea coast. The prohibition to appeal development master plans
must be removed and it should be accepted that if these are not accompanied
by an environmental assessment, they are null. This can be achieved with
quick changes to the temporary and concluding directives.



This coming Tuesday – 28.01.2014 there will be citizen-led protest initiatives in
defense of Nature reserve Park Standja in Sofia, Plovdiv, Burgas, Rousse,
Sliven.
