This year Earth Hour includes 157 countries and it will be started by the crew of “The Amazing Spiderman II” in Singapore.
Until now participation in the initiative is confirmed by a record number of Bulgarian municipalities and regional administrations – 105.
Events are planned in above 10 Bulgarian cities – educational initiatives, movie screenings and fiery processions, art demonstrations and live music.
From this week in all cinemas of Arena’s cinema chain every ticket for screening will carry the message of WWF: be our inspiration, share how you yourself are helping to protect the environment.
WWF’s panda and the global ambassador of Spiderman initiative will symbolically turn off the lights of Arena cinema – West, Sofia, Saturday, at 8.30 p.m. There also will be the annual festive of nature during Earth Hour with WWF’s friends and live music.
Turn off the lights on 29th March at 8 p.m.
