School for ornithology and nature conservation – Lecure 10
Despite its small territory, Bulgaria has over 420 recorded birds. Anyone who is willing to learn more about them is welcome at the lectures of the Bulgarian Ornithology Centre.
The School for ornithology and nature conservation is free.

Lectures are carried out on Tuesdays from 18:30 in the lecture hall of the Institute for Biodiversity and Ecosystem Reseach- Bulgarian Academy of Science (Base-2, the former Zoology Insitute, a common building with the Natural History Museum, entrance from the Russian Church. Tsar Osvoboditel Blvd, No 1, Sofia). Their length is 60-90 minutes, depending on the dopic.

In the lectures, modern audio-visual equipment is used, also excursions in nature are organized. If you have missed some lecture, do not hesitate and visit some of the following ones.
The school provides opportunity for career orientation for students and pupils.
Lectures are conduced by Assoc. Prof. Boris Nickolov.
