Ornithology and Nature Protection School – Lecture 13

Visiting lecturer: Phd. Stoyan Nikolov (BSPB)

In spite of the small area, over 420 bird kinds have been established in Bulgaria up to now. All interested to know more about them are welcome to the lectures of Bulgarian ornithological center.

The Ornithology and Nature Protection School is for free.

The lectures are conducted every Tuesday from 18:30 in the Conference Room of BAS’s Biodiversity and Ecosystem Research Institute (Base-2, former Zoology Institute, shared building with Natural Science museum, the entrance faces Russian Church: 1, Tsar Osvoboditel Boulevard, Sofia

They last 60-90 minutes, depending on the topic discussed.

The lectures are presented with the help of contemporary audio-visual technology, and excursions in nature are organized.
If you have missed some of the lectures, do not hesitate to visit next ones.

The lectures are an opportunity for professional orientation for high-school and university students.
