Despite the relatively small area, there are over 420 bird species located in Bulgaria. The ones willing to learn more, are warmly invited to the lectures of the Bulgarian Ornithological Centre (IBER-BAS). The Ornithology and nature conservation school is free of cost.
The lectures are supported by multimedia. In addition, tours in the nature are organized, too. If you have missed a lecture, do not hesitate to attend any of the following ones.
The school gives the opportunity for professional orientation of school and university students.
The lectures are held by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Boris Nikolov to the Bulgarian Ornithological Centre of the Institute for biodiversity and ecosystem research of BAS.
