The village of Dolno orizovo provides shelter fo five vultures

Due to bad weather conditions during the winter period the five birds were kept longer in the facilities of "Green Balkans" and the Fund for Wild Flora and Fauna in Stara Zagora and Blagoevgrad. Before their arrival three vulture were released from the cage, who had completed the mandatory one-year period of adaptation. According to the observations of experts in the area of Dolno Ozirovo a population of more than 40 birds has already been established there, which is a good prerequisite for the formation of a colony of vultures and their permanent residence on the territory of PP "Vratsa Balkan". At the beginning of the year few nesting pairs formed as well.
