Ornithology and Conservation Course, Bulgarian Ornithological Centre, Lecture 24 Lecture 24 [19 May 2015]:
Despite Bulgaria’s small size more than 420 species of birds have been registered on the territory of the country. The Bulgarian Ornithological Centre provides an opportunity to those that wish to learn more about them: an Ornithology and Conservation Course.

The course takes place every Tuesday at 6:30 pm in the Conference Hall of the Institute of Biodiversity and Ecosystem Research – BAS (Base 2, former Institute of Zoology, in the building of the National Museum of Natural History; side entrance from the Russian Church, 1 Tzar Osvoboditel Blvd., Sofia). Duration: 60-90 min. depending on the particular topic.

The lectures are visualized by modern audio-visual tools; field trips are also organized.

The course is entrance-free.

Do not hesitate to join us even if you’ve missed previous sessions.

The course can serve as a base for academic development to high-school and university students.

Led by Boris Nikolov, Asst. Prof. PhD.
