The deconstruction of Yailata has begun!

We publish the narrative by the Facebook group “Free Kamen Bryag”:

“On July 2, 2015, the Supreme Administrative Court of the Republic of Bulgaria issued its Decision № 8092, with which it decreed that the project named “Thorough rehabilitation and reconstruction of “Ribarska hizha”” by the Pavlov brothers from General Toshevo in the National Archaeological Reserve Yailata is illegal and is subject to be demolished and the area re-cultivated.

The dismantling of the concrete construction of Pavlov brothers began on October 19th, 2015 at 09:30 in the morning. After that time there should be nothing there to remind of that outrage, so that globeflower spouts again! We from the Facebook group “Free Kamen Bryag” will monitor the process....

We use the opportunity to again call on the Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Bulgaria to analyze the documentation, which Pavlov brothers deposited in Kavarna Municipality, related to the property in question and to make accusations concerning the officials who signed documents containing incorrect or unlawful content, as well those officials, who with their actions or inaction contributed to what happened.

In the course of the eight-year saga we had to communicate with a number of institutions in Kavarna and Dobrich. Their officials, conscious of the unlawfulness and the corrupt basis of what was happening did much more than what their official status required, in order help enforce the law. They were providing moral support to us. We are very grateful to them!
