The second edition of the Youth Festival for the Earth is here

Alternative forms of behavior, dedicated to the protection of the environment in the city and out of it, will be presented. This year one of the focuses will be again on solutions related to the reduction of overconsumption. We, Youth for the Earth, together with our followers will seek alternatives to consumerism and consumer society. Will prepare workshops, presentations, discussions, examples of "something from nothing", "do it yourself", "zero waste", „zero footprint", "live simply."

With Ecocentric and their game of "KonsUmuvay" will follow the trail of the responsible consumption. SIPI.eu will show us where our desire to become users with a smaller environmental footprint is welcomed. They will share with us the innovative map of restaurants and bars in Sofia where you can use your own containers to avoid the disposable ones.

Composting will not be missed this year as well “Atelier Saw” and Association for Sustainable Practices "Our Home" ate going to show us how to compost and produce biohumus. We will learn to do pure cosmetics and a new paper from old, "bombs" with seeds and others.

On the stand “For the Earth” you will be able to see the results and prepared posters, T-shirts and bags from our competition "The hidden life of the things". We will inform you for our future campaigns and actions. We will not forget to present the topics that excite us in a more creative way - starting with theater and performance "Praholyashka/Dustella/ and the black Kingdom". This year we will have a rich film program, divided into two groups - Resources and Energy, and Food and Agriculture. We are going to show movies as well as our new cartoons that will be presented for the first time. Traditionally will conclude with a musical evening, with duet Sha-sha performing for us followed by more pleasant music.
