Restoration of riverside forests is the topic of WWF in the Week of the forest
Popularizing the significance and value of the riverside forests is of paramount importance for the success of the conservation activities. This is also the goal of the brochure elaborated by experts “The riverside forests: benefits, state of play, conservation”, which WWF presented to the wide public today. The brochure presents in a synthesized form part of the experience from the last 10 years for restoration of the riverside forests. The bilingual edition in Bulgarian and English unites the lessons learnt from already finished projects in Bulgaria and the region and could be found online on the WWF website.
