Vote for the project Save the Raptors
The nominations are part of the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the EU LIFE Programme.
The project “Protection of the Imperial Eagle and the Saker Falkon” is an excellent example how the successful nature conservation could be useful for the economy. It supported the creation of 9 new couples of Imperial Eagle in order their population to reach 25 couples. The project also created jobs for the local people in the region of Sakar Mountain where the unemployment rate is very high.
