The epidemic caused by COVID 19 created a new economic and social context in which social enterprises are forced to work. There have been changes in many areas of life - some of the systems managed to respond on time, some did not. The situation of uncertainty and dynamism with a view to introducing new or additional restrictive measures will create even bigger issues for the sector and it’s development.
We believe that those who manage to adapt to this new reality will have a better chance for a better tomorrow. This is the process in which big role is played by all of us who, in one way or another, are part of the ecosystem for social entrepreneurship in Bulgaria.
Provoked by trends and expectations from some of the medium-sized social enterprises we decided to launch the new initiative "Growing up together: ideas and actions for voluntary use”. This way we’re aiming to further develop and invest in social enterprise community in Bulgaria and create yet another space for new ideas, new ventures and new approaches.
The first online discussion is titled "Financial instruments for sustainability and growth of social enterprises" and will be held on November 27, 2020 from 10:00 to 13.30 in the zoom platform. Register NOW and be part of the plans for the development of social entrepreneurship in Bulgaria!
