The team of Balkani Wildlife Society invites us this Saturday (25 of January) from 15:00 to 18:00 o`clock in their office (67 Tsanko Tserkovski Street, entrance 3) with a proposal, which is little unusual, but creatively oriented. We are going to paint on T-shirts and bags with subject wetlands (herons, storks, cane, rush, etc.), which to be available for sale into the Wetlands Conservation Center “Dragoman Marsh”.

Let this be our biggest protest since the beginning of the year! Because so far nothing has been done for Irakli and the Black Sea Coast! They are just distracting us with meaningless actions and giving us false promises! At the same time they want to take over Pirin and clear- cut its forests!
Sofia, Burgas, Ruse and Tryavna have already joined the protest. We are waiting confirmation from Plovdiv, Varna and. .. your city.

Between 7 and 18 December leaders from 192 countries will meet in Copenhagen, one of the “greenest” cities in the world, in order to participate in the UN Climate Change Conference. This is the most important similar meeting in the last decade and probably our last chance to achieve an effective and responsible plan for reducing the disastrous carbon emissions.

The world is preparing for the meeting in Copenhagen – so does Bulgaria! Come on 12 December (Saturday) at 5:30 p.m. to the Lovers’ Bridge, candle in hand, so that we can show we are concerned about our planet. All needed for the Prayer Vigil for the Earth to be successful is … a few people J. It will be funny, easy and will cost nothing at all (except for a candle and about an hour time).
